India’s only female player for the US Open 2011 tennis tournament, Sania Mira’s ranking up by one place ahead of the grand slam tennis tournament.
As per the latest tennis ranking by WTA, Sania Mirza is now standing at 63.
This year’s US Open is starting today, 29th August 2011 and will end on 11th September 2011.
Sania Mirza will Shahar Peer of Israel on the first round match of US Open 2011.
Shahar Peer is ranked at 24 as per the latest WTA ranking list and Sania Mirza is at 63. Sania Mirza has not done very well at the recent singles matches, but her opponent Shahar Peer is so far won 5 WTA titles and her career best ranking was 11th in January 2011.
The only thing which Sania Mirza and all her fans can relay is that she hold a 4-1 advantage against Shahar Peer in head-to-head count.
