India’s tennis player Sania Mirza and Pakistan’s cricketer Shoaib Malik married on 12th April 2010 in Hyderabad, India.
The marriage news made lots of media hypes and Shoaib and Sania were to face lots of problems including the divorce of Ayesha Siddique.
Shoaib Malik on reaching Pakistan conducted a reception at Sialkot hockey stadium and problems of mismanagement reported from the event. Also few petitions were lodged against him and later court dismissed the petitions.
On 27th April 2010 Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik arranged a Walima at a five star hotel in Lahore. Shoaib Malik Sania Mirza walima were attended by almost 1000 people and the guests were served just one dish and the function came to an end at sharp 10:00 pm. All this happened because of some rules issued recently by the Government of Pakistan.
