Indian sexy tennis star Sania Mirza will not play in Federation cup tennis tournament this year.
As Sania Mirza was out of Fed Cup, only Abkita Bhambri (377), Sanaa Bhambri (478) and Rushmi Chakravarthi (509) left in the team.
Last week Sania Mirza along with Mahesh Bhupathi won mixed doubles at the Australian open and they become the first India woman to win a grand slam title.
The reason for the withdrawal from the Federal Cup is said to be a stomach strain.
Sania Mirza is back in India after the Australian Open 2009. Her next tennis tournament will be Thailand Open and Dubai Open.
“It is the biggest honour to play for your country. But unfortunately this injury came up. My body held up pretty well during the grand slam but I am not yet ready for a long, demanding schedule.” Said Sania.
