Also Shoaib Malik previous marriage with a Hyderabadi girl named Ayesha also came to the picture when Sania Mirza announced her plan to marry Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik.
Later Shoaib Malik divorced Ayesha to be able to marry Sania Mirza. Even though he denied the marriage news between him and Ayesha Siddique.
There were ongoing protests from Shiv Sena and other outfits regarding the marriage of Sania Mirza.
Some reports said that due to the protests, the venue of Sania Mirza Shoaib Malik marriage have been shifted to Dubai. Still it is not clear whether the marriage will be held in Hyderabad.
Sania Mirza earlier engaged to Mohd Sohrab Mirza and later they called off the engagement.
